Stockholm, Sweden’s capital city spreads out over 14 islands in Lake Mälaren and looks out proudly to the Baltic Sea to the east. Her grand public buildings, palaces, rich cultural history and museums tell her 700 year-old history beautifully.
One of the best meals we had was undoubtedly at Prinsen. Classic Swedish Cuisine in a casual dining bistro. Get a booking before you go. We went mid week and it was full!. You can’t leave Prinsen without having the Biff Rydberg! Fillet of beef, onion, potatoes with mustard mousse. Unbelievable. Have a look at the menu here. We also spent two very romantic evenings at the Cadier Bar and the Veranda. At the bar a real piano bar transforms the night into something special. They have live music over the weekends.
A walk through the old town and we found the quaint Chaikhana! A tea house with a wall full of different teas and lovely cakes and light bites ti go with it. You will see pictures of the menu and tea house below. Enjoy!
